Step-by-Step Technique

Anterior frame: identify ASIS and iliac crest

Make small incision 2cm posterior to ASIS

Insert Schanz pins into iliac crest between tables (supra-acetabular)

Angle pins 20-30° towards AIIS

Use oscillating drill to avoid thermal necrosis

Minimum 2 pins per side, ideally 3

Connect pins with anterior frame construct

Apply compression for APC injuries

Alternative: C-clamp for posterior ring disruption
