Revision Hip Surgery
A 72-year-old man with multiple comorbidities including diabetes and chronic renal failure presents with a persistently infected left total hip replacement. He has failed two-stage revision surgery and cultures continue to grow methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus despite appropriate antibiotic therapy.
