Total Knee Arthroplasty Complications
A 78-year-old woman presents after a fall with pain and inability to bear weight on her right leg. She had a cemented total knee arthroplasty 5 years ago for osteoarthritis. Radiographs show a displaced supracondylar femur fracture above her well-fixed femoral component with good bone stock. The fracture line does not extend to the prosthesis.
