Ankle Trauma
A 35-year-old woman presents after twisting her ankle while stepping off a curb. She has lateral ankle swelling and tenderness. Radiographs show an oblique fibular fracture at the level of the tibial plafond, with the fracture line running from anteroinferior to posterosuperior. There is no medial clear space widening.
