Jones Fractures - Classification and Management

Metatarsal Fractures

A 22-year-old professional basketball player presents with lateral foot pain after landing awkwardly during a game. Radiographs show a transverse fracture at the proximal fifth metatarsal at the metadiaphyseal junction, extending into the 4-5 intermetatarsal articulation.
