Lisfranc Injury Classification

Midfoot Injuries

A 32-year-old man presents after a motorcycle accident with severe midfoot pain and swelling. Weight-bearing is not possible. Radiographs show lateral displacement of the base of the second metatarsal relative to the intermediate cuneiform, with a small avulsion fracture at the medial aspect of the second metatarsal base.
