Ankle Trauma
A 38-year-old man falls from a ladder, landing on his feet. He presents with a severely swollen right ankle with fracture blisters developing. Radiographs show a comminuted intra-articular distal tibial fracture with impaction of the articular surface and a fibular fracture at the syndesmotic level.
