A 32-year-old new mother presents with 6 weeks of pain over the radial aspect of her wrist. The pain is worsened by thumb movements and lifting her baby. On examination, there is tenderness over the first dorsal compartment and the Finkelstein test is positive. She has previously tried splinting with mild improvement.
