Flexor Tendon Injuries Management

Tendon Injuries

A 28-year-old man presents with a laceration to the volar aspect of his right ring finger at the level of the proximal phalanx, sustained while cutting glass. He cannot flex the DIP joint against resistance and has weak PIP flexion. On examination, there is loss of the resting cascade, and the finger lies in relative extension compared to adjacent fingers.
