Carpal Trauma
A 28-year-old construction worker falls 3 meters from scaffolding, landing on his outstretched right hand with the wrist hyperextended. He presents with severe wrist pain and swelling. The wrist has a "dinner fork" appearance. Median nerve distribution numbness is present. Lateral radiograph shows the lunate aligned with the radius but the capitate displaced dorsally.
