Perilunate Dislocations

Carpal Injuries

A 28-year-old male motorcyclist presents after a high-speed accident with severe wrist pain and swelling. He landed on his outstretched hand with the wrist hyperextended. Examination reveals marked swelling, loss of normal wrist contour, and reduced grip strength. Median nerve function is intact.
