TFCC Injury Management

Wrist Ligament Injuries

A 28-year-old tennis player presents with ulnar-sided wrist pain for 4 months following a fall onto her extended wrist. She has pain with gripping and rotational movements. Examination reveals tenderness in the fovea (between the flexor carpi ulnaris and ulnar styloid), positive fovea sign, and a painful click with ulnar deviation and rotation.
