Peripheral Nerve Pathology
A 52-year-old mechanic presents with 18 months of progressive weakness and wasting of the intrinsic muscles of his left hand. He has clawing of the ring and little fingers, positive Froment's sign, and numbness of the little finger and ulnar half of the ring finger. He failed conservative management including night splinting and activity modification.
