Developmental Dysplasia of Hip Barlow Ortolani

Hip Disorders

A newborn girl is examined at her routine neonatal check. She was born by breech presentation, and her mother has a history of DDH. Examination reveals asymmetric thigh folds and limited hip abduction on the left. A "clunk" is felt when performing the Ortolani maneuver.
