Distal Tibial Physeal Injuries

Physeal Injuries

A 13-year-old girl presents with ankle pain and swelling after an external rotation injury during gymnastics. Radiographs show what appears to be a Salter-Harris III fracture on the AP view and a Salter-Harris II pattern on the lateral view.
