Early-Onset Scoliosis
A 2-year-old boy is referred with progressive thoracic scoliosis first noted at 6 months of age. Cobb angle measures 45 degrees with a rib-vertebral angle difference (RVAD) of 25 degrees. He has no underlying syndromic features, neuromuscular disorder, or congenital vertebral anomalies. Spine MRI is normal. His parents are concerned about lung development.
