Elbow Trauma
A 12-year-old boy presents after falling on an outstretched hand while wrestling. He reports immediate pain over the medial elbow. Examination reveals swelling, tenderness at the medial epicondyle, and weakness of grip strength. There is no instability on valgus stress testing. X-rays show a displaced medial epicondyle fracture with 8mm displacement. There was a spontaneously reduced elbow dislocation reported by the family.
