Pediatric Foot Disorders
A 12-year-old boy presents with progressive left foot pain and stiffness over the past year. He has difficulty on uneven ground and cannot keep up with peers during sports. Examination reveals a rigid flatfoot with absent subtalar motion. Peroneal spasm is noted on attempted inversion. Oblique radiographs reveal an anteater nose sign at the calcaneonavicular region.
