Spinal Tumors
A 55-year-old woman presents with 8 months of progressive bilateral leg weakness and sensory changes. She initially noticed numbness in her feet that has gradually ascended to her mid-thighs. She reports a tight band-like sensation around her trunk at the T8 level. Examination reveals spastic paraparesis with hyperreflexia, bilateral upgoing toes, and a sensory level at T8.
