Spinal Trauma
A 28-year-old construction worker falls 5 meters and presents with severe back pain. He has no neurological deficit. CT scan shows an L1 burst fracture with 50% canal compromise, 25° kyphosis, and disruption of the posterior ligamentous complex (PLC) seen on MRI as increased signal in the interspinous ligament.
