Ankle Injuries
A 22-year-old basketball player presents with a right ankle injury sustained while landing after a jump. He felt the ankle "roll inward" and developed immediate swelling over the lateral ankle. This is his fourth similar injury in 2 years. Examination shows tenderness over the anterolateral ankle with a positive anterior drawer test and talar tilt test.
