Patellar Instability

Knee Disorders

A 17-year-old female presents with recurrent patellar dislocations. She has had three episodes of lateral dislocation in the past 2 years, each with minimal trauma. Examination reveals apprehension with lateral patellar translation, hypermobile joints (Beighton score 6/9), and increased Q-angle. MRI shows a torn MPFL and a flat trochlea.
