Calcaneal Fracture Sanders Classification

Foot Trauma

A 35-year-old construction worker falls from scaffolding, landing on his heels. He has severe hindfoot pain, swelling, and ecchymosis extending to the sole. The Bohler angle on lateral radiograph is 10 degrees. CT scan shows a displaced intra-articular calcaneal fracture with two fracture lines dividing the posterior facet into three fragments.
