Foot Trauma
A 35-year-old male motorcyclist sustains a high-energy midfoot injury in a collision. He presents with significant dorsal midfoot swelling, deformity, and inability to bear weight. AP and lateral foot radiographs reveal widening of the talonavicular (TN) joint and loss of cuboid height with compression. CT scan confirms TN subluxation and comminuted cuboid fracture with 8mm of lateral column shortening. There is no compartment syndrome. Regarding Chopart joint injuries:
