Distal Femur Fractures - Classification and Management

Lower Limb Fractures

A 78-year-old woman falls at home and sustains a fracture of the right distal femur. Radiographs show a comminuted intra-articular fracture (AO 33-C2) with significant metaphyseal comminution and medial column fragmentation. She is a community ambulant with a BMI of 28.
