Foot Trauma
A 22-year-old elite sprinter presents with 6 weeks of insidious-onset dorsal midfoot pain that worsens with running and improves with rest. She has recently increased her training intensity. Examination reveals point tenderness over the dorsal navicular (N-spot) and pain with hopping on the affected foot. Initial radiographs are normal.
