Pelvic Trauma
A 28-year-old motorcyclist is brought to the emergency department after a high-speed collision. He is hemodynamically unstable with a blood pressure of 85/50 mmHg despite 2 units of blood. Pelvic examination reveals instability. AP pelvic radiograph shows symphysis diastasis of 4cm, right sacroiliac joint widening, and multiple associated fractures. A pelvic binder has been applied.
