Ankle Trauma
A 45-year-old construction worker falls from scaffolding and lands on his feet. He presents with severe ankle pain and swelling with fracture blisters. Radiographs show a comminuted intra-articular distal tibial fracture with impaction of the articular surface and a fibular fracture.
