Diagnostic Principles
A 16-year-old boy presents with 3 months of progressive pain and swelling around his right distal femur. Pain is worse at night and not relieved by rest. Radiographs show a destructive lesion in the metaphysis with periosteal reaction and a soft tissue mass. MRI confirms a 10cm lesion with skip lesions proximally.
