Hemangioma - Classification and Management

Benign Tumors

A 25-year-old woman presents with a soft, compressible mass in her anterior thigh that has been present since childhood. The mass has a bluish discoloration and increases in size when dependent. Plain radiographs show round calcifications with lucent centers. MRI demonstrates a lobulated mass that is hyperintense on T2-weighted images with flow voids and heterogeneous enhancement.
