Coronoid Process Fractures

Elbow Trauma

A 38-year-old woman falls onto her outstretched hand with the elbow in extension. She presents with a painful, swollen elbow that subluxates posteriorly on examination. CT scan shows a coronoid fracture involving 50% of the coronoid height (Type II Regan-Morrey), a radial head fracture, and LCL avulsion. MRI confirms complete lateral collateral ligament disruption.
