Distal Biceps Rupture Management

Elbow Injuries

A 48-year-old man presents after feeling a sudden "pop" in his right elbow while lifting a heavy box. He reports immediate pain in the antecubital fossa and notices a change in his arm contour. On examination, there is ecchymosis extending distally, a palpable defect in the antecubital fossa, a reverse Popeye deformity with proximal muscle bunching, and weakness of supination and elbow flexion.
