Shoulder Pathology
A 28-year-old baseball pitcher presents with insidious onset shoulder pain exacerbated by throwing. He reports a "dead arm" sensation at the end of the throwing motion. Examination reveals positive O'Brien test and active compression test. He has full range of motion but pain with resisted forward flexion of the supinated arm.
