Multiple-choice written examination of applied basic science relevant to orthopaedics, including applied anatomy, physiology, surgical pathology, pharmacology and the principles of surgery.

Promotion Examination - Annual Written Paper

One written paper of at least 100 single-best-answer multiple-choice questions with four options, covering basic concepts and clinical topics across the specialty, sat at each training level.
